If you are a regular viewer of the series ‘Criminal Minds’, then probably you might just have guessed what I am going to talk about. Well, even if you have guessed, all you fans have a good reason to be happy about. As you all might just know that A.J Cook was on a maternity leave. The actress has given birth to a healthy baby boy, Mekhai Allan Andersen and the creators of the series have decided to surprise the viewers by calling her back on work.

The creators of the series have decided to disturb her, interrupting her convalesce time and have asked her to do a small little role in one of the up coming episodes of the series. The best thing about her this cameo is that she will be making an appearance in the series with her new born child. By the way I have called her this appearance a cameo; I know that she is a regular in the series, because after her this appearance she will again be back on her maternity leave.

I personally feel that this really is a good idea of making the star come back in the series. Actually, this whole idea of mixing her personal life with her professional life is what is of interest to me. Her appearance will simply refresh the series and will also make all those fans happy, who have been missing her for long. Though, I have also heard that her appearance is not that long one, but something is better than nothing. Right people? Anyways, as far as her being regular in the series is concerned for that you will have to wait till February. It is only in February or even later that we will be able to see her as a regular, just like before. As for now we are waiting desperately for her small come back in the series. And, here’s wishing her all the very best for her new role of a mother, though in her real life.

Finally, our favorite ‘Criminal Minds’ series is back to unravel some more mysteries and to find out the truths hidden behind the closed doors. I am a huge fan of Criminal Minds and watching it from the day of its beginning. After the season 3 finale, I was desperately waiting for Season 4. It is obvious man…….. I realized how tough it is to wait for favorite TV drama.

September 24, 08 was a fantastic day when ‘Criminal Minds’ returned with season 4. Season opener was entitled ‘Mayhem’. In this episode, we see that the City is on high alert after a bomb explosion. So, the investigation team fights to save their colleagues and also to catch the terrorists who’re responsible for bombing.

Next episode was entitled ‘The Angel Maker’, aired on October 1, 08. It was again a good episode where BAU investigates the connection between a serial killer and a series of murders. In the third episode named ‘Minimal Loss’, Prentiss and Reid go to investigate a case and find themselves entrapped in an unexpected situation. Next in the row are ‘’Paradise’, ‘Catching Out’, ‘The Instincts’, ‘Meroriam’ etc.

Well, it’s great! But, I’m not sure what will they do after season 4… because there’re rumors about series’ cancellation. I really don’t want it to be cancelled because many things are yet to be explored and many crimes are yet to be committed. No official announcement is made, by any show representative, about cancellation and also not about another season. It’s in the hands of future and we’ll have to wait till the right time.

‘Criminal Minds’ retrieval brought a smile, not for fans, but also for the CBS network itself. The network averaged 11 million viewers in prime week last week. ‘Criminal Minds’ lonely got 16.2 million viewers and remained as the most watched show at CBS. The network also gave the credit of its success to several CBS hits such as ‘Criminal Minds’, ‘CSI’ etc.

Yesterday, I went to my old college after two years. We had a get together of old friends over there. So everybody reached there at sharp 10′o clock in the morning. So we eated and chatted and everybody was pretty excited to see each other after a long span of two years. So after the initial formal talk like what are you doing, what is going on in life and what are the future plans etc, we reached upon gossip. Christie was also there, and we call her the encyclopedia of TV shows, as she is just crazy about the TV shows and you cam get updates about any show from her. So as usual I teased her, what’s up on television? She smiled back and then we started discussion about the ongoing TV shows.

Then, came the name of my personal favorite ‘Criminal Minds‘. The show is already on air and I was surprised to hear that they are preparing for a spin off too. The most fascinating thing is that in this spin off there will be all new detectives. I didn’t believe it first then Christie told me that it was the headline on TV news a few days back.

You know it makes me angry when a very good show is running successfully on screen and suddenly we hear that now it will never come back. They just end the story and leaving cliffhangers for the future possibility of remaking. I don’t understand why don’t they just continue it? Well I am so glad that at least the risk of Criminal Minds going off screen is over. Hey I am pretty excited.

I was thinking may be the new detectives will be students of the older ones and the old ones will also appear in the show by supervising them or giving them references of the old cases. What do you say? The show rocks, I don’t miss any of the episodes, as I get indulged with the story while the detectives are solving mysteries of the criminal cases and the viewer goes on making advance guesses about, who can be the culprit?
