Criminal Minds Episodes : Catching Out
In the Season 4 Episode 5, The BAU agents are presented with a case in Modesto, which involves a series of murders in rural areas, and are committed around the railway tracks. The murders are also unique in the choice of the victims, all of whom are chosen based on their proximity to the railway track. The investigations lead Aaron and his team to a man who does not have a home to call his own and jumps trains to live a life riding the rails. However, he often stops his journey which proves fatal for some people living near the tracks. Whenever he stops, the killer finds and targets couples living quite close to the railway tracks. After claiming the lives of his victims he resides in the house of the victims for the night, eating at their table and sleeping in their beds. The BAU agents find themselves giving the killer a chase up and down the Highway 99 as he jumps trains in Northern California.
