In this episode of the season, Hotchner and Gideon had to move instantly when they came to know that Elle and the other passengers have been taken hostage by a paranoid schizophrenic psychiatric patient. The man threatened to kill all of them unless an imaginary microchip is removed from his arm. In the end, it was Dr. Reid who made the patient to believe that his demands had been met with, so that Elle and the other passengers could be saved.
