So, how was your experience with the fourth season of Criminal Minds? It came to an end on May 20, 2009 with the season finale entitled ‘To Hell…. (1)’ & ‘…. And Back (2)’.  Both the episodes were aired on the same day with each having a different production code. The Robert Pickton murders, which took place in Vancouver BC, served as a basis for the plot.   Here’s a little summary of the episode which brought an end to the fourth season of Criminal Minds.

We saw that BAU was busy in investigating one of its most difficult cases. The team headed towards Canada to track down a serial killer. The criminal had a very special kind of interest; he was killing the junkies, prostitutes and the homeless people off the streets of Detroit.    And, in the second part of the episode, BAU continued the search for the killer. This investigation put the life of a member in danger. During the investigation, it also came to light that the accused was already on the top of Hotch’s list and he was searching for him for a long time.   Innumerous other revelations led to setting up the trap to nab the culprit and the season finale left several mysterious unsolved.

Well, the fifth season of Criminal Minds has been confirmed by the CBS Network. Most probably, it’d hit our TV screens in September, 2009. No more details such as episode names and airing dates have been issued yet.    The plot of Boston Reaper would be carried forward into the fifth season and we would see Agent Hotchner being held up at home by the Boston Reaper at gunpoint.
