The famous American crime drama series Criminal Minds is all set to launch its spin-off show. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the spin-off will be created by Criminal Minds’ executive producers Ed Bernero and Chris Mundy. The spin-off will make its debut in spring as an episode of Criminal Minds!

Though the full details of the show are yet to be unleashed,   Trade Daily’s report has confirmed that a new team of FBI agents would replace the old ones. The show has been a huge bash till now amongst its viewers as it has been carried all the way excellent actors and a logical and non erroneous storyline!

My favorite character in the current Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) is Garcia, the technical analyst. The blonde wears a heavy framed spectacle in the show and she has a heavy physique which makes me speculate that she must have been a bookworm or a couch potato in her real life! But the 37-year old Kirsten Vangsness (Garcia) performs her role on the screen so well that I literally feel pain in my heart when she cries on screen! The story of the series also describes that she was a hacker who was extremely dangerous one and she had her name in FBI and CIA’s list of hackers! So, she was recruited in BAU due to the fame she earned as a hacker. Ah! Man! I always wonder how hacking is done!

On the show, Gracia’s parents died in an accident. She then went underground and her love for computer coding was something which relied upon after her parents’ death. And, this rigorous coding habit for days, nights and years lead her to become a computer maestro in hacking and breaching the cyber laws! Still, she has a heart that melts every time whenever she witnesses little trauma.  And, I feel like cuddling her at that time as if she is my kid. May God bless you Kirsten and please don’t cry ever!

All Criminal Minds fans have set their sights on the fifth season of the series which is likely to be premiered on September 23, 2009. The episode which will mark the beginning of the Criminal Minds season five is entitled ‘Wicked Game’. It would be ninety second episode of the series. The season began with the episode entitled ‘Mayhem’ which was aired on September 24, 2008. Here, we saw Reid investigating the case of a young boy’s murder in Las Vegas. As he delved into the matter, he came to know that the case has some connection to his past. The episodes next to it were also entertaining. Now, it’s the turn of the episode which must be talked about when it comes to review the fourth season of Criminal Minds. It was entitled ‘Brothers in Arms’. Here we saw that the police officers were being killed in Phoenix, Arizona and a former cop Morgan took the case personally. The season maintained good ratings from its beginning to the end with each episode getting good response from the viewers throughout the world. The fourth season of Criminal Minds came to an end on May 20, 2009 with the season finale entitled ‘…And Back (2)’. The storyline of the season ender was derived from Robert Pickton murder case in Vancouver, BC.  Here we saw the team struggling against a serial killer who put the life of a team member in jeopardy. Well, before we proceed to thrash out what would be happening next in the fourth season of ‘Criminal Minds‘, let’s talk a little about the recent episode of series. It was entitled ‘Conflicted’ and was aired on April 8, 2009. In this episode of the season, we saw the team take a trip to South Padre Island. It was the spring break and their task was to find out the serial killer whose targets were the college students enjoying their vacations. Jackson Rathbone made guest appearance in this episode. So, this was what we saw very recently on ‘Criminal Minds’.

Now, let’s talk about what’s next? The next episode of series would be aired on April 22, 2009 and it’s entitled ‘A Shade of Grey’. Here, we’d see the team investigating the case of child abductions and murders. An in-depth look into the matter would let them discover a hidden reality. Following episode in the row would be entitled ‘The Big Wheel’, supposed to be aired on April 29, 2009.  In this episode, the team would receive a videotape from a serial killer. It would be containing the details of one of his crime and a hidden message to the team. The next episode would be ‘Roadkill’, to be aired on May 6, 2009.

In the current season, which is the fourth season, various characters have made guest appearances on Criminal Minds. Ever since its premiere on CBS Network, the series has been doing wonders. If you are a regular viewer of the series ‘Criminal Minds’, then probably you might just have guessed what I am going to talk about. The actress has given birth to a healthy baby boy, Mekhai Allan Andersen and the creators of the series have decided to surprise the viewers by calling her back on work.

The creators of the series have decided to disturb her, interrupting her convalesce time and have asked her to do a small little role in one of the up coming episodes of the series. The best thing about her this cameo is that she will be making an appearance in the series with her new born child. By the way I have called her this appearance a cameo; I know that she is a regular in the series, because after her this appearance she will again be back on her maternity leave.

I personally feel that this really is a good idea of making the star come back in the series. Actually, this whole idea of mixing her personal life with her professional life is what is of interest to me. Her appearance will simply refresh the series and will also make all those fans happy, who have been missing her for long. Though, I have also heard that her appearance is not that long one, but something is better than nothing. Right people? Anyways, as far as her being regular in the series is concerned for that you will have to wait till February. It is only in February or even later that we will be able to see her as a regular, just like before. As for now we are waiting desperately for her small come back in the series. And, here’s wishing her all the very best for her new role of a mother, though in her real life.
